"Beyond Sustainable Aquaculture - How a Norwegian and Japanese aquaculture collaboration works to feed the planet, cool the atmosphere and create jobs in costal communities”
(Register by link below)
Dear members and friends of the Japan-Norway Society,
On March 6, J-NS will host the second "business benkyoukai" (informal mini-seminar) where we focus on providing presentations and lectures on Japan-Norway related business topics as well as an arena to meet and make new acquaintances.
For this occasion we have the pleasure of being lectured by Mr. Brian Tsuyoshi Takeda (MD Urchinomics), Svein Ruud (MD Norway King Crab) and Trine Bekkby (PhD & Senior Reseacher NIVA). They will be talking about how Aquaculture can go beyond sustainable and in fact bring our ecosystems back into balance, reduce the CO2 in our oceans and potentially take Norwegian seafood to new markets.
We will be hosting the event in the "Hidden Lounge" at magnificent Ling Ling (Aker Brygge) just on the waters edge, befitting the nights topics. The restaurant was just renovated and is truly a sight by itself. In the participation fee there will be light seafood based finger food included. Drinks will be available for purchase in the bar.
We are hoping you will join us for a night in good company with an intellectual twist.
