Dear members and friends of the Japan-Norway Society,

On August 28, the J-NS will be launching a new concept where we focus on providing presentations and lectures on Japan-Norway related business topics as well as an arena to meet and make new acquaintances.

The first topic will be given by Sindre Knutsson (MSc - LSE) from Rystad Energy (https://www.rystadenergy.com/) and the title is “A Global LNG Outlook from Japan’s Perspective”. Rystad Energy is considered by many to be a leading independent entity for Oil & Gas knowledge and consulting.

Sindre has specialized in Global LNG market and his article has recently been featured in journals like “LNG Industry”. His presentation will discuss the future deve...lopment in Japanese LNG demand and the global LNG market outlook.

This time we have been lucky to get the whole Grand Café Wine Cellar, to ourselves and there will be tapas included in the participation fee. The Grand Café Wine Cellar was recently refurbished and boasts one of the most extensive wine selections in Oslo. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.

次回8月の勉強会は日本とノルウェーのビジネス振興を目的とした新たなコンセプトのもと開催されます。

第１回ビジネス勉強会は、Rystad Energy*社のSindre Knutsson氏をお迎えして「日本からの視点による世界LNG市場の展望」についてお話を伺います。*(https://www.rystadenergy.com/) 同社は石油天然ガス業界をリードするコンサルタント集団で、Knutsson氏の専門分野はLNG市場分析です。この度日本のLNGの需要と世界のLNG市場の予測に焦点をあててお話を伺います。
