Guided tour at National museum of art, architecture and design

A collection of Norwegian 19th and 20th century chairs, rugs, lamps and tableware at the Norwegian National Museum

JNS invites you to a guided tour of the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design on Thursday November 3rd at 17:15.

A Senior Curator, Dr. Denise Hagströmer, will guide us through rooms 19 - 25 exhibiting the Museum's collections of the 19th and 20th Century Design which will showcase post-war Norwegian and Nordic tableware and furniture design.

The guided tour will last for about an hour. Afterwards, the Museum suggests that we on our own visit rooms 27 - 31 containing exhibits in arts and crafts and fashion.

The Museum can accommodate up to 20 participants who will be prioritized on a first come, first served basis. Kindly sign up by using this form:

Registration deadline is the 28th of October but it may be closed when the 20th participant completed her/his registration and payment.

The participation fee will be 300 NOK for J-NS Members and 330 NOK for non J-NS Members.
Unfortunately there will be no discount for those who are already a member of the Museum for this guided tour.

Please note if you are no longer able to participate in this event, please notify us ASAP to event@j-ns.no to make room for others as the space is limited. There will be no refund for cancellations after 28. of October.
